Thanks to the Quivira Women's Golf Association for inviting us to be a part of their informal kickoff get-together on Feb. 8 in the Lake Quivira Country Club pro shop. Head golf professsional Tom Aikmus and assistant pros Tyler Dunn and Chris Mabry updated the group on course improvements, 2012 events, golf destinations and the latest in equipment.

Jill Ferrel of the QWGA organized the event and invited Mrs. Golf to talk about what's new in women's golf fashion for 2012. We talked about the great things we saw at the PGA Merchandise Show, including some new accessory lines and the latest colors. We also had samples of Tommy Hilfiger Golf, which is a new line for women, and Sunice and Sunice Silver. Wine, lots of catching up among the golfers, door prizes and that-night-only discounts made for a fun night. Thanks for including us!
